AN AC BOOK CLUB?

Hello everyone,

I have been reading some awesome books lately! And nothing would make me happier than to share these books with others interested in the topic and have some enlightened conversations on the readings.

I have been thinking that the AC needs a book club for months, and so now it is time to put it on the table to see if anyone else is interested. It doesn't have to be highly formalized or anything, but it could be a way that we could...

1) Share Books--it is hard to learn about what books are even out there since many of the "mythological", science fiction, or spiritual books with an esoteric slant are marginalized and not readily available at large book stores. We can also physically share books via snail mail or electronic means (but I still like paper!). Because some of the books I've been reading or am looking for are heard of find/expensive

2) Share Ideas--if we truly want to be the builders of the New/Golden Age, it never hurts to read the ideas of others who have also been thinking about how to manifest this and weighing the pros/cons of new philosophical, social, and economic arrangements. It's also interesting to see how others interpret symbols/phrases differently and discover how it can add to your own perspective.

3) Long-Term Inspiration & Engagement --I don't know about you, but a good book sticks with me and inspires me much longer than most good movies or good discussions/posts (no offense here at all--just my preference).

So even if you are marginally interested, please let me know somehow :) I love to read, and would be happy happy happy to work with any of you to start a book club...even if it's just me and one other soul!

  Thanks for this, although not exactly what I had in mind. And I see it has not had a whole lot of interest recently :/
  
  I was hoping for something a little more organized (no offense to anyone) or more book-cluby so that multiple people could be reading the same book at the same time. But perhaps I should target this group too in a revitalization effort :)

    Yes i think it would be best to work on the established Group ...just add a lot more info and members will get to know
