I beg to differ, but Yale University is competing with Chile's best and they question the existence of at least one planet, which looks probable (BUT NOT FIVE PLANETS).

Update on the search for planets in the Alpha Centauri system

Thanks in part to Planetary Society members’ support, Yale’s Debra Fischer and her team were able to secure many nights of observations of our nearest stellar neighbors – the main Alpha Centauri stars – to look for planets. They also tried to confirm the discovery announced by another team of an exoplanet around one of the Alpha Centauri stars. Below, Debra gives us an excellent update on the intriguing results of their observations, as well as future plans, but I don’t want to spoil it for you, so here is the update from Debra Fischer:

Apparent trajectory of Alpha Centauri B around Alpha Centauri A
The apparent trajectory of star B around star A is indicated by the elongated ellipse, with labels for the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015. The axes show the separation of the stars in units of arc seconds. The less elongated orbit shows the binary star system as seen "face-on."I don't know if you were there, but it must be a nice trip my friend. Here's Alpha Centauri, and what my notes have to say about it from an astrology perspective relative to Earth. It is a binary star with another very tiny star (Proxima, indicated per arrow) near it.
