Personally I do not like to see signs of crosses as it is disheartening and I do not think Jesus would like people wearing crosses round their necks
also it is offensive if you just wear just a head of someone special as it is best to wear full body in miniature form ..this is my belief and a spiritual master also pointed this out.

i wear aquamarine/silver on my left hand ...peace protection liquid identity...reminds me and makes me who i am...we are ina relationship....deep green tormaline and gold on right hand...healing and love in the and on the hand i touch the world with.another relationship that becomes identity.
i wear a lions claw set in gold when i want to be bold
i have quartz embedded in the chakras of my light body. a gift from a spirtit sharman friend 20 years ago who guards morialta falls in adelaide sa aus.
i use garnet and green meteorite glass( name escapes me) to travel the ethers. i have to be judicious with this relationship or the stones leave me lost for a time.

At the moment i wear a necklace which consists of Elestial Quartz, Carnelian, and Himalayan Quartz. This was made for me by my crystal guardian sister, this is to know my self and protection on all levels as i work in many dimensions. I also wear a black tourmaline necklace and on my right hand an Indian silver ring with a larimar stone set into it.
Hunter i think the stone you are talking about is called Moldivite, i also wear this when i feel the need. But have a few pieces around the house and in my healing room for work.
My house is teaming with different types of crystals and minerals, some apport when they are needed else where but always reappear when their work is done.
