I don´t know how it affected people around. I experience a kind of ignorance which is heartbreaking. The main knock-out argument always comes: For what reason should they have done this?
To have control over us, I say, and the killer argument goes on: They can all know of me, I have nothing to hide!
The freedom US Americans used to experience is at stake, and in same manner the freedom in Europe. While in the US constitutional rights are challenged, in Europe national states are wantonly working to allow unelected EUrocrates to take over power. And the normal citizen, as far as he can eat, drink, fuck and ride a car, is pleased while not getting disturbed.
Nobody can force someone to see properly and to think. And nobody can make blind ones seeing. The awakened ones must see and wonder, in many cases must suffer.
Yes, we can speak with other humans as far as possible - but any possible undertanding we wish to implement is in fact not in our hands. And it has a good reason: here we come to the essence of freedom.
For many years I have worked in the field of ontology, that is the science of Being. My special interest was what ways Being would take in unfolding itself into other forms of Being. And I found reasonable ways on what lies behind all unfoldings. It is indeed freedom and love.
Freedom is the streambed for love, and love is the force of interest (latin inter-esse: to be between) to emerge and transform itself. Freedom makes all possible that emerges and comes into existence (from latin: stand forth).
The most shocking discovery is the depth freedom has: even in case of failed love, life and freedom the precious streambed of love is in the backround. Existence is not always supposed to reveal its life-affirming colour. Existence - in the name of freedom - may also walk the road to perdition, and so freedom itself. It can fail. There is no backup for success. In the name of freedom God has bought Being forward to move, even in case it moves in a misdirection and self annihilation. Such is freedom - it is without any backup strategies to survive.
Thus freedom conveys real freedom. If both, love and freedom could not fail, then both would be not genuine, but staged forces of Being.
Yes, existence, love and freedom can fail, horribly fail. It lies in the essence of it - without a safety net. Will you now lose your courage to be?
Have you heard of the Roger Waters song "Each small candle"? In the essence of freedom, love and existence there is also another thing: the small things. The mustard seed growing big. The leaven in the flour. The silent voice in a public screaming.
Remember always the depth of what is called FREEDOM. Nobody ever could take it from you, for it is a basic emanation of all Being, provided by the Source of Being in order to survive always, as long as Being is about to occur.
