This is a little calculation on how short life really is. Damn short.
Let`s say, we live 81 years.
It takes 20 years at least becoming conscient. Then you have 61 years of being able living conscient.
You sleep 1/3 of your time, that is from 61 = 20,3 years. So you have 40,6 years in total of being able living conscient.
From age 20 - 65 you work 1/3 of the time. That is 15 years. And 40,6 - 15 = 25,6 years you have in total without work of being able to live conscient.
Now suppose, from age 20 on you watch 2 h tv each day (I think, this is low!). Till age 80 this is around 5 years. And 25,6 - 5 = 20,6 years you have really.
Not enough. Suppose, you driving around with your car from age 20 on for 1 h per day. That is 2,5 years. And you feel fucked up for another hour a day, that is again 2,5 years. We then have 20,6 - 5 = 15,6 years in total you get being able to live consciently.
Around 15,6 years after substraction of sleep, work, tv, driving, feeling fucked! Not bad, huh...
