  Yeah, I see the mockery for 'wokesters', but God's fairness in the issue is clear. God created pple with varying characteristics. But he never said that this make them 'different races'. The label came from human beings, not God.

  Of course I made that comment in jest.....It was aimed at the wokesters, who use race as an argument for just about anything and everything...LOL😆
  
  The higher melanin in your African skin is completely necessary, as you live in the tropics, where sunshine is almost constant, apart from the rainy season and darker skin can take a lot of long duration exposure.....
  
  In northern climes we have far less sunshine, which again makes it practical, for white skins to obtain the benefits of sunshine more rapidly, in shorter periods of exposure, as less opportunities for sunlight benefits, than the tropical regions...
  The temps here are currently 4 degrees Celsius and if I look out the window, the sky is completely overcast, with grey cloud, horizon to horizon...So typical English weather for this time of year...

  Yes, sunbathing is the best way to obtain vitamin D, as the body manufacturers it from the reaction and it tans the skin.....Of course, unless you travel abroad on holiday to a warmer location than Germany, in the winter, you won't be able to sunbathe....
  The whiter your skin, the easier the process...(Is God racist..??LOL)
  Also, if you are obese, not so easy, so you must slim down, if you haven't already....
  And you can also obtain vitamin D from food, such as fish.......At this time of year, as I can't sunbathe in my back garden, as I do in summer I tend to eat salmon, or sardines, king prawns, etc, every week and take a cod liver oil tablet every day....This way I get a good amount of vitamin D, all year round...
