  From Biologicall perspective
  (Which is the perspective I was considering), rather than 'ethical' perspective, 'harm' depends on the point of view. A lion can be seen as 'harming' the antelope or as doing something that is good for the ecosystem as a whole. Same is the case when you understand a human as a parasite.
  
  Remember we were talking about whether or not a virus can kill its host. Then I pointed out by showing how humans CAN damage the earth and thus is comparable to a parasite. I did not insist that humans are ACTUALLY damaging the earth. We were not talking about environmentalism, so that was not my main point. The case where human is an 'harmful parasite' was just hypothetical example to show you that a virus too CAN kill an organism. I didn't intend to insist on the claim that humans are actually harming the planet, much less, they are to be blamed. Please consider the context.

  Then if parasite is not any more evil than an angel, why is it 'evil' to call humans parasites? I mean it is thus not an accusation at all!

  Valana was 91 when she passed. I am baffled by the fact that there is no record of her death either by obituary, death notice, or a legal death certificate. I had asked her daughter because I wanted to pass along a link so her online friends could have closure and send out condolences, but she said her brother was supposed to have done that. Still, I don't know why their county has no record of it. I still check periodically, but no luck. She lived a long and active life and had quite the remarkable stories to tell. I miss her emails and posts.

  I assumed everyone knew the singer....even you.....Since you enjoyed the video...and posted it..The tribute was to Meier, but the music was the late singer...So you surprise me....I thought better of you...You may not be a family member, but you could show some heart, for a fellow human being, who has transitioned on, after bringing so much joy, to so many...??

  'Parasite' in this sense is not an evil thing at all!
  
  Parasite: a living thing that relies on another living thing for survival. A tick or a louse is a parasite in the sense that it rely on a cow or a human etc. Similarly, all animals, humans included, are parasites because they rely on plants for survival. If the earth itself is a huge living thing like they claim, then every other living thing on earth is a parasite. There will be no difference between trees, for instance, and lichens growing off other trees.😆
