"Human is not the parasite here!"
Reply:
Absolutely not!! We live on earth just like ticks live on the body of a cow! That is the precise definition of a parasite! Furthermore animals are parasites in plants because they absolutely rely on plants for their survival. Biologically speaking, there is no difference between a grasshopper feeding on leaves and a human eating vegetables, or a weavil eating grains. Thus human being is a pest, a parasite! I know we would want to think of ourselves as something more worthy. But parasite fits the definition perfectly!
While it seems reasonable for a parasite not to kill its host because it needs it to survive, survival is not all there is about living things. Human beings are now creating nukes, damaging ecosystem and enviroment etc that are not good at all for human's survival. Living things are certainly capable of suicide and nothing can stop a virus from encaging in suicidal exploitation of the host, just like a human being's suicidal exploitation of the planet we are a parasite in!
Now read this for yourself😆

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belgrade Alexander Botan-Kharchenko said that a Russian military base will be established on the territory of Serbia.
He stressed that this decision is a sovereign matter of the republic of Serbia and Russia itself.

But I've been to the Bavarian mountains in summer, also....It's great...Depends on the height...Very high peaks keep snow, all year round, many do not....
Here is Bad Reichenhall in summer...Many peaks have no snow, around the town...
Wow, the Alps are so delicious....;-)

"Mittenwald is located approximately 16 kilometres to the south-east of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is situated in the Valley of the River Isar, by the northern foothills of the Alps, on the route between the old banking and commercial centre of Augsburg, to the north, and Innsbruck to the south-east, beyond which is the Brenner Pass and the route to Lombardy, another region with a rich commercial past and present.,"
The town is surrounded by mountains and heavily pine forested...

The other map I collected was a different trip, and it's Möhnesee im Naturpark Arnsberger Wald....Wanderkarte 1 : 25,000.....
And Bad Reichenhall has some great hotels...I enjoy staying in a small Gasthof...and then out into the forests...

Yes, the large rucksacks are OK, as they have numerous outer pockets for maps, compass...Albeit, better keep your compass on a lanyard, so it can't get lost...
So much, but it depends on the season and what you are planning.....In snow you will need additional equipment..
