1.) The moon looks exactly the same size as the sun
2.) The moon rotates at the same rate as it revolves around the earth.
3.) The far side of the moon is dramatically different from its near side!
Don't you just love their old teleprinters and spinning wheel computers...?? And of course, those darn reel-to-reel tape recorders....hehe...!!

When I look at the moon through my telescpe I see the shaded/darker areas reversed and there are hundreds! of lights-I know, probably reflection-but some areas are cluster lights like a city on Earth at night from space-saw a ship cruise across at a good clip. It must have been huge. Then when I take my camera and focus in for a recording-the shaded/dark areas visibly flip and there are no lights at all!
Moon Base Alpha exists!!! Check pics on a search and look fo images that have many light reflections and you'll see what I mean
