Welcome my friend. It seems we have some things in common. I am planing to buy some acres say 25 to 50 here in belize. I wont to start a community of like minded people from this site to join me. But its not easy the weather around the earth is very erotic right now from the great earth changes. I live on a 1/4 acre now and have a garden but we have had a very heavy wet season and my garden is lost from all the rain. I also plan to do a fish farm or Aquaponics. I already am using solar but not much sun so my Gen. runs on propane. I wrote about these communities and how to set them up in my last e-book but my site is down now. Must get it up soon, and my book will be for Donations only. My book also covers many other subjects you seem to be interested in ! Adonai
