Mayan astrology takes the planet Venus very seriously. This is especially true during the Retrograde to Direct period that occurs approximately every 18 months. The current Retrograde to Direct phase of Venus will be from July 23, 2023 to September 4, 2023. The current phase of "Quetzalcoatl with the spear down" will be from July 23, 2023 to August 13, 2023. Known as "the evening star phase" (with Venus visible on the western horizon as the Sun sets in the evening), this is usually a time-frame when there is much "suspicion" in the air. This "feeling of suspicion" may concern Venusian lovers or spouses, but Venus can also represent social organizations that some people may be suspicious of (for whatever reason, right or wrong). Also note that in my book "Basic Principles of Horoscope Interpretation" I wrote that Venus/Libra can represent legal areas and politics.  The phase of "Quetzalcoatl with the spear up" (with Venus visible on the eastern horizon as the Sun rises in the morning) will be from August 14, 2023 to September 4, 2023. This is usually a time of great tension in social settings, and conflict and violence (esepcially in socially, legally, and politically related areas) is know to erupt during this phase. It is this phase of the Venus Retrograde in which ancient Mayan priests (who would grow their fingernails long for the occasion) would sacrifice a young woman as Venus rose above the eastern horizon (ahead of the Sun). The Mayan priests would gather the blood of the victim on their fingernails and then flick the blood at the rising Venus in the eastern sky (or better stated, "Venus Rising over the Ascendant"). Thus, the concept of "Lucifer Rising" actually has some sort of meaning relative to "the devil." Also note that Lucifer is the Latin name for the morning appearances of the planet Venus, and it corresponds to the Greek names of Phosphorous, Φωσφόρος, "light-bringer", and Eosphorus Ἑωσφόρος, or "dawn-bringer". The entity's Latin name was subsequently absorbed into Christianity as a name for "the devil." Modern scholarship generally translates the term in the relevant Bible passage (Isaiah 14:12), where the Greek Septuagint reads ὁ ἑωσφόρος ὁ πρωὶ, as "morning star" or "shining one" rather than as a proper noun, Lucifer, as found in the Latin Vulgate. Thus, there is a horrific (and possibly violent) concept of "giving the devil his due" that is associated with the Venus Retrograde phase known as  "Quetzalcoatl with the spear up."

Key Astrology Findings Noted For Social Violence 

During The "Quetzalcoatl with the spear up" Phase:

Analysis of the Midheaven (Mc) and Ascendant (As) are key, since these are the fastest moving personal points and thus make the event unique. Mars is almost always involved in some way since Mars rules physical activity (as well as weapons made of steel). The Retrograde to Direct phase placement of Venus (in the "Quetzalcoatl with the spear up" phase) also plays a role for potential for social violence since social gatherings are usually a target of mass shooters or multiple stabbings. Mercury is almost always involved in the event since the media (which is ruled by Mercury) is usually very rapid and responsive regarding news coverage of social violence (and especially if it involves guns). Also noteworthy is any aspect between Mars and Saturn; people involved in guns or gun fighting events usually have Mars and Saturn in aspect with each other. 

 Waco Siege (1993)

During the Waco siege, Venus was rising above the eastern horizon (similar to the favored position for the Maya when they did their sacrifice). The time was 6 am when tear gas cannisters were fired into the wooden buildings of the Branch Davidians. Circled in green and blue above, the Mercury Conjunction Venus Retrograde placement is in sharp Square with the Midheaven, and this may define the legacy of the event as  "the media reporting on a sharp conflict involving a social organization." Circled in red above, the planet Jupiter lies on the horizon plane. This may represent the presence of the U.S. Justice department in the environment, but Jupiter can also represent religious organizations like the Branch Davidians in the environment as well (or maybe both). Circled in black above, Mars Quincunx Saturn is strong, and this aspect may define the gunfights that took place.

Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting (2018)

Circled in red above, this shooting took place with Jupiter on the horizon plane. This Jupiter placement  is eerily similar to Waco 1993 (with Jupiter also on the horizon plane, but in Opposition with the Ascendant). Thus, a religious organization was again in "the environment" of the event. Mercury (circled in blue) is also near the As; the media was reportedly quick to respond to this shooting. Mars Semi-Square Saturn (circled in black above) is strong, and this implies guns or gunfights. Retrograde Venus (circled in green above) is forming a Grand Cross with Uranus ("surprises; terrorism") and the Nodal Plane ("connections or associations with others"). This may define "terrorism or surprises" making a connection in some way with a social gathering. Finally, Neptune Opposition Mc defines the legacy of the event to be one of much disappointment and/or deception.

Big Spring Shooting (2017)

Mars Opposition Ascendant (circled in red above) is significant since Mars rules guns and is near the Descendant (which rules "open enemies"). Note that RFK Sr. and Malcolm X both had Mars Opposition Ascendant, and both died of gun shootings. Mars near the Descendant may thus represent guns as "the open enemy" at the time of the shooting. Also note the Conjunction of Mars with the star of Algol, regarded by many as one of the most evil stars in the sky (but note that Algol is also noteworthy with intense artists and with people involved with politics or law who sometimes publicly expose controversy or scandal). Nevertheless, mass catastrophes come under the meaning of Algol. And Mars rules guns. Mars Quincunx Saturn (also circled in red above) is strong, and the guns-gunfights meaning of Mars-Saturn aspects comes into play again. Drawn in green above, Venus Retrograde is part of a Semi-Sextile fan (also in green above) that contains this Mars Conjunction Algol placement. This implies the use of guns upon a social organization that creates a mass catastrophe; the midpoint placement of the Sun in this Semi-Sextile fan (in close Conjunction with Uranus) may define solar "attention" on the terrorism aspect associated with nearby Uranus. Mercury Trine Mc (drawn in blue above) may define the very good media coverage that this shooting had, from beginning to end.

Willowbrook Shooting (2020)

Drawn in blue above, Mars Conjunction Neptune forms a sharp Square with the Mc. This defines the legacy of the event as one of "actions or activities of great disappointment." Mars in Conjunction with the star of Markab may define "a sad event due to activities involving guns or weapons made of steel" (and note that this star was in exact Conjunction with the Nodal Plane [and minutes from being overhead] during the Manson Family murders of Tate and Folger). Drawn in red above, Mercury Trine Ascendant is similar to the previous Mercury Trine Mc (Big Spring shooting) with the media very responsive in the environment. Finally, Venus Quintile Mars may define a Mars-to-Venus Retrogarde connection similar to the Pittsburgh Synagogue shooting.

August 14, 2023 - September 4, 2023

Alex Jones is predicting a major false-flag mass gun shooting in the U.S. in the latter half of 2023. This is especially true if former President Trump triumphs in the legal atmosphere (OR if the Biden family doesn't triumph in the same legal atmosphere). If one were to look at a possible time frame for such a shooting, August 14, 2023 to September 4, 2023 may be a time frame for this due to the bad reputation of "Quetzalcoatl with the spear up." Also note that  Mercury Conjunction Mars applying a Semi-Sextile aspect to Venus will be strong on August 14, 2023. Mercury will be Retrograde from August 24, 2023 to September 15, 2023, and I have watched a lot of psychiatric patients (or people having bad times in their life) really lose it and break down during Mercury Retrogrades. An exact Semi-Sextile between Mercury and Venus takes place September 7, 2023 during this Mercury Retrograde (with both Mercury and Venus in slow motion). But overall, watch  August 14, 2023 to September 4, 2023 for any posible signs of mass catastrophes involving guns and gun fighting. And pray that it doesn't happen.
