Today I was gifted a bit of incite by my cats. The day before yesterday, we installed a kitty door so the cats could come and go freely at their will. I really got tired of opening the door every time one of my five little darlings stood in front of the door and gave me the sad eye, just as another was crying to get in. One would think that they all would be thrilled and be passing in and out of the door without hesitation. HA! They are convinced that it is impossible to walk through a door and that is all there is to it. Only the big white one has mastered the magic of passing through the door at will. The big black one will only go through the door if he really, really ,really wants to go out and then only if he can't find me to con me into holding the door for him. Mamma will only go through if her tail is on fire, and baby sister is Catholic and sees evil in everything; she won't go near it. She has decided to become an inside cat rather than meet the challenge Cats are so much like people, aren't they? I'm sure the magic door will be intimidating for us too, but I'm jumping in wthl both feet. :)

I love cats - you paint a clear picture Ann :-3 they are such funny little characters ...my friend's cat psyches herself up and then launches herself through the cat door at lightning speed. Maybe will do that too haha :)
