Body Surfing the WavesAugust 2, 2009A Message from The Council of Light through Rebecca CouchBeloveds, it is time to steady your ballasts and stay in perfect balance. Make this your intention in every moment, no matter what waves challenge your stability. Balance in the Light that you know you are; be in your larger Presence that nothing will rock you. Breathe into this place as often as you think of it. Remembering, of course, that it is when the waves come that you most forget, so practice. Like body surfing in the ocean waves, keep alert, prepare for their arrival, stay strong, big deep breath, and surrender! All the while staying confident that you will be whooshed out after a tremendous, exhilarating experience, only to willingly swim out and do it again!Feel the centre of your Great Presence, knowing that it is so much larger than your physical body - but start there, as it is where your experience is the closest for now. Close your eyes and find your centre…you know exactly where it is…in your sacred heart centre, just behind and below your heart. It is so easy to breathe there. (Notice how close it is to your will!) And now, like a spider drawing out it’s web, radiate out fine anchor lines from this centre all throughout your physical being within the egg of your auric field (with the edge the extent of your arms). Tether those lines inside your egg and secure them there. Again, like the spider, secure the circles of your web, in ever-expanding rings of light from the centre outward within your egg. There are many multi-dimensional webs, not just a single flat web, as there are many connected one to another. Now infuse your entire intricate web with radiant, shining, brilliant light. Breathe and hold your balance there.Notice the peace and balance and connection you find here. Remember your web of light within your protected egg of light as often as necessary, and especially when necessary! Hold the peace, and keep your balance, no matter what. Do not allow anything that comes from outside your protected egg of light to tumble you in the waves…keep riding them in preparation, strength and trust that all is well. Beyond that, tether yourself with Love to Mother Earth and with Faith to Father Sky, and all will be well. This is the ride of many lifetimes, so it is important that you stay centered and balanced and grounded and yet able to play in the waves!Set the intention for balance while allowing yourself to experience this ride of your lifetimes, for you don’t want to sit in fear or restriction or hesitation now. Be willing. Be adventurous. Be flexible. Be playful. Playing in the waves on the beach is not the time for rigidity or constraint or even thinking about anything else. Go for it! And stay in your strong, clear, light-filled centre all the time, knowing that all is well.Surf’s up!The Council of Light WithinHeartLight
