  Thanks Rama...and the Judeans of the Roman Empire, had a commonly held notion, among certain religious sects, such as the Essenes, who did not subscribe to Roman rule, that Rome was a "New Babylon." They often associated these two empires together, albeit, they were centuries apart.....BUT, also, it was indeed the case, that both of these empires, in turn, destroyed the Temples of Solomon (Babylonians) and of Herod (Romans)...

  As you suggest, the antichrist spoken of in the Bible, was Emperor Nero....

  Yes, Drebx. The reason as to why some christians end up taking these mounsters literaly is cause they think the outhers had in mind a distant future; end times. So the book becomes hard to wind the mind around. However we must reason that those who received the book first could understand it. At once, it begine to make sense. It is all about the ancient things and empires.
  
  The antichrist, for instance, was suposed to be Nero, the ultimate tyrant. The one who sent John to the Island of Patmoh. He died but it was beleived that he would resurrect at the end of the world. John aluded to this alot.

  'He was, he is now not yet he will come'
  'His number is the number of man, 666'
  'He ruled in a city build on 7 hills (Rome which he substitutes with Babylon)

  Drekx you are absolutely spot on love....  Ruling something that everyone born into is a crazy thought yes there must be rules to avoid calamity but dear god earth is every humans birth right so we must treat our inheritance from creator with love and respect...

  Of course, these biblical dragons and multi-headed monsters, are symbolic of great empires, such as Rome and Babylon and are not to be taken as literal monsters, as so many church fanatics seem to want them to be...

  Of course, that book was heavily censored by the Romans, as well as the English scholars of King James...So what is left is truly paltry....

  To point out the absurdity of such, you only need to insist that it takes an evil mind to create an evil thing. And then we can tell the image of the creater by what he creates.

  Yes, the vid was very interesting....I do have some Irish blood, on my dad's side...He was English, my Mom, German (Prussian.)

  My great grand mother was Irish, on my Dad's side...and she was a renowned psychic, among her peers and family, albeit not internationally famous...

  Yes, the Celts were those ancient tribes who lived in Britain before the Angles, Saxons and Danes, arrived...

  Reptiles indeed...?? Yes, we can see such old wives tales and the sheer lack of education behind them...We may also apply the inverse square law, in this instance..... which measures the ratio, between the size of the mouth and the size of the brain.....Ignorant and stupid people are often highly vocal...loudly so...A bit like the Eagles Haven website...full of members who talk loud and think small...LOL ;-)
