Not Enough

I didn’t know it then
I didn’t know that love
Could ever run dry
Perhaps through childish eyes
This world was worth it
Though as I learn
Nothing is ever as it seems

For a moment
I could feel innocence die
As each soul becomes unclean
To live a life free fro
