Awakening

There are many who think they know

Just where it is they want to go

Sleep walking they near the road

Each carrying such a heavy load

Gently awaken them my friends

Open your heart and let them in

There’s plenty of room inside

If you put away your ego’s pride

Strange as it may seem to be

It’s all really a part of you and me

The road is long and narrow at first sight

There’s many choices, which is right

Some move fast, some move slow

Left or right, we all need to know

There’s not much time left to find the key

The answer is in you and me

We’re getting stronger as we grow old

Knowledge becomes wisdom as is foretold

To live a life without lies

Brings great peace, showing in our eyes

It’s never too late to join God’s plan

Strong we are to be, truly free we stand

There’s recruits coming soon

Angels and space brothers on the moon

This is the battle to end all wars

Look for your brothers coming from the stars

I know it sounds foolish to think

The world’s finished, we’re on the brink

The dark cannot stand the light

As the day always overcomes the night

All things return to their creator

We belong to that which is greater

God’s kingdom cannot fade away

It’s here to stay each and every day

You can’t find what you haven’t lost

Turning to the dark side is a great cost

Bring them back if you can

They’re the son of God and of man

Don’t’ go into the dark without your light

Obey the laws of what is right

God’s son is everyone you see

He is male and female, he is you and me

The mind of God is ours as told

Now we must learn to be bold

No harm will come to his son

We only have to remember we are one

God’s family is all there really is wow

We must learn to remember now

The warning goes unheard

By those who’ve forgotten his word

Time is now, bring them homebound

Be quiet, don’t make a sound

Life never ends where it begins

We are all in his arms again.Amen
