The chart above was done by myself. In a recent lecture an important discovery was made, and this was the strong relationship of the natal horoscope Sun ("the physical body; the general health and vitality") with natal placed Black Moon Lilith ("secret activities that may or may not be legal OR harmful activity; charity work"). Elizabeth Taylor, George Harrison, and Stephen Hawking all had serious health issues in non-elderly years, and all three also had natal Black Moon Lilith aspecting the natal Sun in an 8th Harmonic aspect. Two of these 8th harmonic aspects discussed in my book are the Semi -Square (45 degrees) and the Sesquiquadrate (135 degrees); both of these aspects are described as defining health issues. Let's first look at Elizabeth Taylor:
Elizabeth Taylor had the following health ailments:
According to media archives, she had been a regular smoker well into her fifties. An x-ray scan revealed spots on her lungs in 1975, but lung cancer was eventually ruled out (Mercury).
She broke her back five times (Saturn).
She had two hip replacements (Jupiter).
She survived skin cancer (Saturn).
She underwent a brain tumor operation (benign; Mars).
Twice she had life-threatening pneumonia (Mercury).
She received treatment for alcoholism in the 1980s (Neptune).
She received drug addiction treatment in 1983 and 1988 at the Betty Ford Clinic (Neptune).
She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004 (Sun).
When seen in a wheelchair she explained that it was due to her osteoporosis and that she was born with scoliosis (sideways curving of the spine; Saturn).
She died of congestive heart failure at age 79 (Sun).
Below is the chart above but with my notes.
Note the aspect of Sun Semi-Square Black Moon Lilith. Now onto George Harrison below.
In addition to Sun Square Saturn, George Harrison had Sun Sesquiquadrate Black Moon Lilith. George Harrison underwent radiation treatment for throat cancer at age 55, and the transit of Neptune Sextile Venus was taking place at this time. Neptune rules "disappointments," the Sextile aspect rules "opportunities," and Venus rules the throat (according to my medical astrology chart). This was followed by brain cancer; Harrison was getting his second Saturn return at this time (and note the natal Mars Sesquiquadrate Saturn placement; Mars rules the brain. Harrison was getting a very strong Saturn Sesquiquadrate Mars transit at this time). This Saturn return timeframe may have seen "an opportunity for disappointment or pharmaceuticals involved with areas of the throat" and "restrictions involving the brain." George Harrison died at age 58 on July 22, 2001 of lung cancer; the transit of Neptune Conjunction Mercury (lungs) was within 3 degrees and the midpoint of Mercury/Pluto ("crisis involving the lungs") was within 7 minutes of Conjunction with Neptune. Now onto Stephen Hawking.
Physicist Stephen Hawking has Sun Sesquiquadrate Black Moon Lilith, similar to George Harrison. At age 21, Hawking was diagnosed with a nerve crippling disease known as ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Hawkins was also having the transits of Uranus Square Black Moon Lilith and Uranus Sesquiquadrate Sun at this time (and Uranus rules the central nervous system). Stephen Hawking was given 2-4 years to live; Hawking would not die until 50 years later, surpassing all medical expectations.
Note the Grand Trine of Uranus with Neptune and Mercury ("disappointing news [Mercury Trine Neptune] concerning the central nervous system [Uranus]") and the Grand Trine of the Sun with Saturn and the Moon ("harmony of restrictions [Saturn] and involvement with the public [the Moon] with the body itself [the Sun])".
Conclusion
Hard natal aspects (within 1 degree) of the Sun applying to Black Moon Lilith may be indicative of serious health issues in younger or non-elderly years. This is especially true regarding the Semi-Square (45 degrees) and Sesquiquadrate (135 degrees) aspects. The Sesquiquadrate aspect seems to offer the strongest probability for potential health issues in natal horoscope charts (and also with transits to the natal hoscope chart). Thus, the 45 degree and 135 degree aspects must be observed if one wants to look at medical astrology possibilities concerning illness.
