Everything And Nothing

In lieu of my last blog post, I feel I should post something more uplifting:

I am living in an illusion. It is everywhere. There is no reason to fear it. My body has been given to me. I must use it wisely. Emotions are a by-product of sensory perception -so I should be careful how I use them! Along my way to death and rebirth, get to know myself and others. My life is not a race. Stop along the way to smell the roses and to appreciate life as it is. Love myself. Live in forgiveness of myself so that I do not harbor guilt or regret.

Sometimes I sit and ponder the world. I look at all of the details and am coated-over with awe and happiness.

Dirt specks and ants are interesting. The broad aspect of all the universe is filled with these minute details. The meaning of life doesn't matter as long as in some way there is consciousness. There doesn't have to be a meaning to everything -everything just is.

Existence fills me with glee. To feel, to think, to breathe -all of it is wonderful. To know the meaning behind it all would spoil it -a stroke of paint that would ruin the painting.

The universe is completely irrational from a scientific standpoint. I love modern science, but it just fails. The nature of the universe is wholly chaotic. It contains ups and downs, the invisible and the visible, everything and nothing -to try to comprehend and label the extent of it would be utter disrespect and self-illusion. Love for one's self, others, and existence is the most powerful thing we have to offer the universe.
