Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) joined Benny Johnson’s The Benny Show this week, where he warned, “Something dark is going on,” regarding several top scientists who have either gone missing or been killed in under a year.
“Something is going on,” the congressman said while discussing one scientist who “had some nuclear secrets” and went missing “the week after the president said he was gonna start releasing some of those [UFO] files.”
“We had several folks that have left this earth or disappeared that had some close proximity to a lot of that,” he added, referring to government UFO secrets.
Johnson asked the Tennessee Rep. if he had ever met any of the missing scientists while attending classified briefings, and he coyly responded, “Possibly.”
Burchett mentioned retired Air Force Major General William McCasland, who had knowledge of UFOs and nuclear technologies, going missing in February after leaving his home with a .38-caliber revolver.
The congressman also revealed he spoke with President Trump about the vanished and murdered scientists, telling POTUS, “It’s like an onion, you just keep peeling it back.”
President Trump is also being kept in the dark about some of NASA’s information about the topic of UFOs, according to Burchett.
Continuing, the GOP politician talked about NASA aerospace engineer Monica Reza, who has been missing since June 22, 2025, and had a deep knowledge of metallurgical technology.
“I am not suicidal,” the Republican Rep. added.
In addition to McCasland and Reza disappearing, physicist Nuno Loureiro, who ran MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, was killed in December, astrophysicist Carl Grillmair was killed in February, and the body of Novartis Director of Chemical Biology, Jason Thomas, was discovered in a Massachusetts lake in March.
The bizarre situation comes as the U.S. government last week registered two new website domains, alien.gov and aliens.gov, according to records.
Questioned about the domains, White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told DefenseScoop, “Stay tuned!” along with an alien emoji.
The registrations came one month after President Trump pledged to release the U.S. government’s UFO files.
Meanwhile, mysterious objects being labeled “meteors” have been witnessed by Americans in multiple states in recent weeks.

Not saying that some mad boffin in the deep state is not trying to breed crossbreeds, but if he/she is, it won't work...Which galaxy did they have in mind, Andromeda...??....Sounds like disinfo, frankly..but I never put it passed the average deep state scientist, to be totally insane..
Congressman Burchett obviously knows about the ET/UAV reality and coverup...He may want it out and I agree..
