An idea for a book I'm thinking of writing.

I am currently gathering information about religious prejudice and its adverse affect on our society. I grew up Roman Catholic and never saw more of a bunch of hypocrites in my life. I explored other religions around my 20th year of life and decided to follow the Wiccan/pagan path. I do NOT think ALL Catholics OR all christians are hateful or hypocritical. I have met many who are but I have ALSO met many more who ARE NOT! I want to gather people's stories of religious abuse together and write a book about it from BOTH SIDES (since I KNOW there are christians who have been abused by christians). If the Wiccan Reed states "if it harm none, do what thow wilt" then how is that different from the christian creed of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" Everyone wants to be treated fairly and decently, from ALL religious paths, and so I want MY book to stories from ALL paths of religious experience/persectution or acceptance. I have talked to at least ONE person on one of my other lists who thinks I'm trying to "get dirt" on christians and make them all seem like horrible people but that's NOT what I'm trying to do.If I truly hated christians, I would NOT live with one. My roommate is Christian and yet the first words out of his mouth when he found out I was not were NOT "you should burn because you are a witch!" (which has, btw, been the first things that have come out of other's mouths many a time. What MAKES people have religious prejudice anyway?
