If I ever mistook you for me
forgive my arrogance and ignorance,
but such a simple and easy mistake
to make in such a universe.

The divine looks in the mirror
all day and night,
every day and night,
thinking it views only its own reflection.

What a tragic bitter waste
for spirit to so ignore
what it always longed to see.
