Chapter 33

It happened then, when Jesus had said these words to his disciples, who told them: This is the song of praise that Pistis Sophia expressed in her first repentance, repenting of her sin, reciting everything that happened to her. Now, therefore: He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Mary approached him again and said: My Lord, my spirit of light has ears and I hear with my power of light; and your spirit that is in me has calmed me. Listen then and that I can speak in relation to the repentance that Pistis Sophia expressed, speaking of her sin and what happened to her. Your power of light prophesied this previously through the Prophet David, in Psalm sixty-eight:

(Those who have repented of their sins sing to the Great Light.)

(Marah, Mary, Isis, the Virgin of the Sea, within ourselves, hears with the power of the Light and the Spirit of the Lord dwells in it.)

(God rises within us when our Divine Mother Kundalini disintegrates and scatters the ashes of the Eternal's enemies.)

(Unquestionably, God's enemies are the undesirable psychic elements that we carry inside.)

(Such elements personify our psychological defects: Anger, Greed, Lust, Envy, Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, etc., etc., etc.)

(As the wax melts before the fire, so the impious will perish before our deep inner God.)

(But the Righteous, that is, those who have done the Great Work, will rejoice, rejoice before their intimate God and to jump for joy.)

(Sing to your deep inner God, sing psalms to his Name, exalt him who rides on all higher levels of Being.)

- I have remained crying; My throat is mute and my eyes have withered, waiting patiently for God.

- Those who hate me for no reason are greater in number than the hair of my head; strong are my enemies, who violently persecute me. They demand what I did not take from them.

- God, you know my senselessness and my faults are not hidden from you.

- That those who wait on you, Oh! Lord, Lord of powers, they do not be ashamed for my cause; May those who seek you suffer no shame for my cause. Oh Lord, God of Israel, God of powers!

- For your cause I have endured shame; shame to cover my face.

- I have become a stranger to my family, a stranger to my mother's children.

- Well, the zeal of your house has consumed me; and the insults of those who vilify you have fallen on me.

- I conformed my soul with haste and it was returned to me for my reproach.

- But I prayed with my soul towards you, Oh! Lord, the time of your benevolence is now, Oh God! In the fullness of your grace, listen to my salvation in truth.

- That a flow of water does not sink me, that the depth does not swallow me, that the well does not close its mouth over me.

- Listen to me, Oh! Lord, for your great mercy; according to the abundance of your compassion, look down on me.

- Do not turn your face from this, your servant, for I am oppressed.

- Listen to me quickly, pay attention to my soul and redeem it.

- Save me from my enemies, for you know my misfortune, my shame and my dishonor; All my oppressors are before you.
