DIDACTIC OF SELF-KNOWLEDGE

 

 

 

 

  Justifying or condemning does not mean understanding. Those who want to end their defects should not justify or condemn them. It is urgent to UNDERSTAND our mistakes.

 

 

 

  Those who once flocked to the temples of the Ancient Mysteries Initiatic to be instructed in secret about the eternal principles of the Universal Wisdom must go through different stages before reaching the Adept.

 

 Purification, Initiation and Perfection were required steps for anyone who wanted to cross the threshold of the Resurrection.

 

 Then as now, it is inexcusable that before starting the Way ,  must have the preparation needed to face difficulties and overcome the faintness that will arise along the same.

 

 Anyone who accedes to these Gnostic Studies on the pretext of conquering great powers, to awake to the unknown immediately, is condemned to failure.

 

 Before we start the Way, we must let go of any load that is useless and superfluous, something as terrible and heavy as our own subjectivism. We must PURIFY our mind eliminating our psychological plurality, our shortcomings. How?  : Dying in ourselves from moment to moment.

 

 But to succeed in this endeavor, we must have the proper knowledge of the Corps of Doctrine to get thoroughly into the work with the first factor of the Revolution of Consciousness: to die.

 

 Only death brings forth the new. The topics that will come later and will unfolding will show us the unique way to carry out this PURIFICATION, will allow us to one day have the true Universal Wisdom of all Perfection, as long as we practice from now, the knowledge that we it offers the Work of Samael Aun Weor, which offers this "Teaching of Self-Knowledge."

 

 For this we have to face with a new mind the reality of the facts, free from the obstacles of materialistic skepticism that has its origin in the lie of one who is self-esteem disproportionately.

 

 The stark reality of events is that events may be repeating over and over, but what we have to change is our attitude before such circumstances.

 

 We need to change our attitude toward existence, but you cannot change your attitude towards life if not eliminate those harmful elements carries in his psyche, ie, we need to know ourselves deeply. If we SELF-KNOW we discover our mistakes, and if we discover we eliminate them, and if we eliminate them we wake up, and if we wake we come to know that which is not of time, that which is the Truth.

 

 Certainly there is a harmful element in us that is an obstacle to the acquisition of true Happiness: false personality. The Being in itself is happy, immensely happy, when one eliminates the false personality.

 

 Obviously we need to bring a change in us. For this purpose we must continue to study this Compendium, of the "Didactic of Self-Knowledge": The implement as soon as we pointed the VM Samael Aun Weor in his Works "Treaty of Revolutionary Psychology" posted before. Already then he told us:

 

 "So if we really want a radical change, what we must first understand is that each of us is on such and such a Level of Being."  What is our Level of Being? It would not be possible to move to another level if we ignore the state in which we find ourselves.

 

 Certainly the interior work on themselves emphatically refers to the diverse psychological states of Consciousness. Within our psychological country, everyone has his companions, his Egos; these will take you to where you should take it according to your psychological characteristics.

 

 If we really want to really change, we need with maximum and unavoidable urgency to radically modify those erroneous states of consciousness.

 

 It is possible to transform mechanical reactions through logical confrontation and self-reflection of the Being. One can change the nature of unpleasant events that happen to us, when intimately is PURIFIES.

 

 Whoever corrects not his absurd psychological states by believing himself very strong, becomes a victim of circumstances. One can change intimately when really manages to modify his reactions to the various facts that come to him on a daily basis.

 

 It is evident that anyone who feels no interest in observing himself, nor want to work to achieve a true radical transformation. True knowledge that can really cause us a fundamental inner change, has base on the SELF-OBSERVATION direct from himself.

 

 Observation is a means to modify the mechanical conditions of the world. INNER SELF-OBSERVATION is a means to intimately change.

 

 But the process of change, of dissolution, must be methodical, didactic and even dialectical, otherwise we would be disorient. We need to become Self-aware of our own thoughts, our own feelings and the effects that others produce in us.

 

 Obviously, the work of disintegrating the elements of false personality is often very difficult. The impatience in these studies harms those who start in them. If they want to make serious progress, they must become serious. It is not conceivable a serious man who has not acquired patience. Jesus the Christ said: "In patience you will possess your souls."

 

What is meant by transformation?  To become different creatures. The most serious is that if you identify with the false personality, if live in it, fail.

  The disintegration of these or other errors in us is not merely intellectual. Sometimes we have to go through great emotional crises, we need the supreme repentance.

 

 To reach self-transformation, to achieve it , the continuity of purpose is essential. When a Permanent Center of Consciousness has not been established in us, there is a lack of continuity of purpose. But when it has established a magnetic center in the bottom of the Essence, then there is continuity. Normally, the Magnetic Center of our own existence is located in the false personality.

 

 The personality itself is Pure Energy, but when the mechanical Egos come to use that Energy it becomes the false personality. But if we disintegrate such Psychic Aggregates, it is no longer false, it is an instrument to Work.

 

 The personality must be balanced with the Essence, otherwise there is imbalance, if there is no balance between Being and Knowing can be no perfect understanding. When the Being is bigger than knowing, there we find a "stupid saint. When Knowing is greater than Being, there is present a "knave of intellect".

 

 One establishes the balance between Being and Knowing - based on Meditation, through the Intimate Dialectics of Being, through the Dialectic of Consciousness.

 

 A correct self-observation of itself is indispensable premise to get into the Psychological Death premise. Only with Death  We reach a new Life.  Giving birth to a new life is a process of Creation, and all creation is sexual, as was that force that brought us into this world. Only the conscious sexual force will make the Great Change possible in us. With Sex concludes our Work, our intimate transformation.

 

 Likewise, this Compendium concludes with a chapter devoted to the study of sexology, because you need to know how to use the energies flowing inside the human body.

 

The ascetic of Aquarius seeks Sex, because he regards Sex as that wonderful power that can radically transform him. We need to make a revolution of consciousness, a radical transformation. Within each of us there are extraordinary powers that are dormant, latent, and we need to put them into activity, to awaken them.

 

 The flame of the Spirit must be revived with the force of Love. Unfortunately the people do not understand what we are saying because they are asleep.

 

As a result of so many works, a different, terribly divine creature emerges at the bottom of each one of us. So it has been said by Death transformation begins.

TRANSFORMATION OF IMPRESSIONS

 

. Mindfulness excludes what is called Identification. When we identify with people, with things, with ideas, comes then the Fascination, and the latter produces

. SLEEP IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS.

 

 This topic is about the transformation of oneself. In past talks we discussed the importance of life in itself. We also said that a man is what his life is and that this is like a movie.  When we disembody we take it to live it retrospectively in the Astral World and when we return we bring it to project it again on the screen of the Physical Body

 

 It is clear that the Law of Recurrence exists and that all events are repeated, that everything really happens again as it happened plus good or bad consequences. It is clear that the transformation of life is possible if one proposes it deeply.

 

 Transformation: It means that one thing changes into something else. It is logical that everything is susceptible to change.

 

 The alchemists of the Middle Ages spoke of the transformation of lead into gold. However, they did not always allude to the merely physical metallic question. Normally they wanted to indicate with such a word, the transformation of Personality lead into the Gold of the Spirit. So let us reflect on all these things.

 

 In the Gospels, the idea of the earthly man comparable to a seed capable of growth, has the same significance. As the idea of rebirth also has it: a man who is born again. It is obvious that if the grain does not die, the plant is not born.

 

 IN ALL TRANSFORMATION THERE IS DEATH AND BIRTH.

 

 In Gnosis we consider a man as a factory of three floors that normally absorbs three foods:

 

1.-The common food. Usually corresponds to the lower floor of the factory, to the question of the stomach,

 

2.-The Air. It is on the second floor, which is related to the lungs.

 

3.-The Impressions. Indubitably they are intimately associated with the brain or third floor.

 

We have; IMPRESSIONS-BRAIN, AIR-LUNGS, FOOD-STOMACH.

 

 The food we eat undergoes successive transformations. This is unquestionable. The process of life itself, by itself, is transformation. Every creature in the Universe lives by transforming one substance into another. The vegetable, for example, transforms the air, water and salts of the earth into new vital substances, elements vital for us (fruits, etc.). So, everything is transformation.

 

 By the action of sunlight, they vary the ferments of nature. It is unquestionable that the sensitive film of life that normally extends over the face of the earth, leads to all the Universal force inward the planetary World. But each plant, each insect, each creature, the same "intellectual animal" mistakenly called man, absorbs, assimilates certain cosmic forces and then transforms and transmits them unconsciously to the inner layers to the Planetarium organ. Such transformed forces are intimately related to the entire economy of the Planetary Organism in which we live. Indubitably, every creature according to its kind, transforms certain forces which then retransmits into the Earth to the world economy.  So every creature that has its existence fulfills the same function.

 

 In all there is transformation.  So that, the epidermis of the Earth is an organ of transformation. When we eat a food so necessary for our existence, it is transformed, of course, in stages after stages. Who performs within us that process of transformation of its substances? The Instinctive Center, so wise is such center, it really is amazing the wisdom of such Center. Digestion itself is transformation. The food in the stomach, that is, at the bottom of the three-story factory of this human organism, undergoes transformations. If something enters without going through the stomach, the body could not assimilate its vitamin principles, nor its proteins. That would simply be indigestion. Thus, as we are going to reflect on this question, we understand the need to go through a transformation.

 

 Of course, (physical) foods are transformed. But there is something that invites us to reflection, and is suitable transformation of impressions. For the purpose of Nature itself, there is no need for the "Intellectual Animal" to transform impressions itself. It would be magnificent to transform impressions. Most people, as they see the terrain of practical life, believe that this physical world will give them what they seek and yearn for. This really is a tremendous mistake. Life itself comes into us, into our organism, in the form of mere Impressions.  One could not really transform your life if not transform the impressions that come to mind.

 

 There really is no such thing as external life. We are talking about something very revolutionary, because everyone believes that the physical is the real thing. But if we go a little further, what really are receiving every moment, at every instant, are impressions.  If we see a person that pleases or displeases us, the first thing that we obtain are impressions of that nature. Life is a succession of impressions.  Not as many learned ignoramuses believe: a physical thing of an exclusively material type.

 

 The realities of life are its impressions.  Of course, the ideas that we are broadcasting are very difficult to capture, to apprehend. The person we see seated, for example, in a chair with such or such a colored suit, the one who greets us, the one who smiles at us, etc., are for us real things, right?  But if we meditate deeply on all of them, we come to the conclusion that the real thing is impressions. These naturally come to mind through the window of the senses. If we did not have the senses, for example, eyes to see, ears to hear, mouth to taste food, would it exist for us what is called the Physical Body?  Of course not, absolutely not. Life comes in the form of impressions and that is where it is possible to work on ourselves.

 

 First of all, what should we do? We must understand the Work we must do.  How could we achieve a psychological transformation in ourselves?  For doing work on impressions we are receiving every moment, every instant. This first work it is called: First Conscious Shock. This is related to these impressions, which are all we know from the outside world that we are receiving. How big are the real things or the real people? We need to transform each day internally. In wanting to transform our psychological aspect, we need to work on the impressions that enter in us.

 

Why do we call Work on the transformation of impressions the First Conscious Shock? Because the shock is something that we could not observe in a merely mechanical way. This could never be done mechanically, a self-conscious effort is needed.

 

 It is clear that when you start to understand this work, one begins to cease being mechanical man that serves the purposes of nature. And this goes against our Intimate Self-Realization. You, then, begin to understand the meaning of all is say now.  If you now think of the meaning of all that is taught here by the via of self-effort, beginning with self-observation, you will see that on the esoteric practical side everything is intimately related to the transformation of the energies and what naturally results from the same.

 

 The work, for example, of negative reactions on annoying moods, on the question of identification, on self-consideration, on successive egos, about lying, about self-justification, about excuses, about unconscious states in which we are related to the transformation of impressions.

 

 So somehow agree that the work itself, compared to the decision in the sense that a transformation. It is necessary, then, that we reflect on this, understand what the First Conscious It is necessary to form an element of change in the place of entry of impressions. Do not forget!
