Apparently an ancient Mayan calendar suggests the end of the world is nigh. Putting aside the possibility that this prophesy may fail to unfold; it seems smart to figure through some apocalyptic options in order to optimise the time we have left.
One option is the complete eradication of our species. If this one’s true it seems appropriate to spend all your effort and resource doing whatever you most enjoy. With so little time left it’s a waste to wait or worry.
Do be careful to be kind to other creatures including your soon to expire fellow humans. If prophesy is reality it’s logical to assume there’s more to life than mere physical existence. As such you’d be wise not to sell your soul!
Another end of the world analysis suggests it’s the ruin of our acquisitive capitalist culture. If this one sings of truth to you then perhaps sell up and buy country property with available water. At least spend your effort setting up self sufficiency and practising living frugally.
It would be good to focus on your health so you can hit the new ground running. I further suggest you invest in relationships and close community. Cooperation and survival will surely coincide!
A third end of the world scenario suggests that what will end is our enslavement beneath the current hegemonies of “truth”, power and authority. Then, rather than obeying or resisting our propagandist “Masters”, we’ll be inclined to think for ourselves then act responsibly according to our own ethics.
If this version’s real then our action is clear. Think for yourself now!
All ancient tomes are difficult devices to discern. Like a Chinese whisper translated through a million minds the authentic original message becomes obscured.
However what seems clear is that the world does end in each moment then immediately starts again. Each moment thus contains a fresh and wonderful opportunity. Embrace change and you just can’t go wrong!

I do agree uptill some extent ... But look around you and in news there are so many natural disasters surfacing and as it goes they are going to increase and finally we all will be fighting with each other for survival for existence ... and on this the so called (STUPID) world leaders are going to harvest thinking that they are not going to die at all ......... and will not face the dooms of hell .... as with them the so called religious leaders ( there are exceptions) will also try to prove that they are only the saviors and in their religion only lies the salvation ...
We all must first and foremost remember that we are first born as HUMANS ( that means we have to preserve our HUMANITARIAN traits) ... but with the flow we all forget the main aspect altogeather ...
Well we will all be here to see more of all this ...

im loving these comments :). the media feeds on fear . but really this allegation of grand change is so exciting. what is there to fear? worst case senario. a horrible death ..lol...ah well no point in worrying , then were it to happen its over pretty quick and then void or the ethers prior to rebirth. more probably i think there is a resurection of human /planetary/universal goodness to arise...hallelujah...the best planning is to embrace the fullness of your being. but then is that not always the opportunity?!

I wish we knew how it will all unfold. It's frustrating not knowing how to plan our lives, yet trying to carry on regardless. Thinking in several ways, planning our careers yet feeling time is short.
