I'm working on my undergraduate studies. I've been interested in spiritual things most of my life. Had several encounters with beings I consider of Angelic origin.
Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration
I have not had actual spiritual teacher other than attended churches with my family. Do not get out much on Sundays while in class I tend to sleep in. I have come here hoping to find spiritual teachings.
I'm also a student the ancient Jewish Kabballa and have studied some in the Zohar. I wear the red string of the Kabbalists that has been wrapped around Rachel's tomb seven days and blessed by an Israeli High Priest. I'm a Christian Kabbalist and I respect all religions and belief systems. I have some Jewish blood through my Grandmother's Grandmother that came from the old country. I would say, if I had a spiritual teacher it would be my Grandmother that has directed my spiritual development most of my life. She taught me to respect all religions as all of us are children of God and we should love each other. I've grown up with the belief that all are basically good with exception of a few, and we should do unto others as we would want them to do unto us. My Grandmother has been the greatest influence in my life and the life of her other Grandchildren and has taught us to forgive, send blessing for cursing and ignore the ignorant ones that try to trample on those that are forgiving. I'm a serious student of the Bible, planning to be in full time Christian service when I finish my education either in music or as a missionary. If I teach the principles of the Christ that I have learned through the years from my Grandmother I will do much to help bring world peace to a trouble world which is my desire and dream.
Books You have Read and Would Recommend
I don't know of any spiritual books I've read at this time as I attend classes and work part time. I hope to find some of interest later. Of course I've read and studied in depth the whole Bible majoring on the teachings of Jesus and St Paul and also some of the Zohar, Bible of the Kabbalists. I am very interested in reading the Bible in the original language and one of my dreams is to study Ancient Hebrew and Bible interpretation at the University of Israel for a year..Those are the kind of books I'm interested in mostly.
I've read most of my Grandmother's library of Kabbalah writings of the Bergs' family and I would recommend first the Bible then the Zohar and other books by the Bergs on Kabbalah. Most are not aware of it but it was the early Christian Kabbalists that saved the Zohar from extinction. It is considered a sacred book by the Jews as well as the Jewish Bible and the teachings of the Rabbis.
Movies and Music you Would Recommend
I like music with an upbeat, do not like sad things nor would I recommend some of the lyrics of the rappers. I like the ancient chants and rajnas of the Eastern culture. I would recommend the "Gate, gate, para gate, gara son gate, raha fria " I think it brings calm when troubled and a bit upset.

Sorry about he delay in replying regards an aura. I find this interesting, your reply. I have not frequented this site often and it slipped though the cracks.
Yes, that is my real picture standing there. Regards to your analysis, it is close to be right on. but every so often I get pissed and slip up, writing thoughts that are true, but harmful. So we all learn no matter how far we progress it seems.
About three years ago I was out of body during meditation. This was during an attack from a small government group plus being in great pain from a knee replacement. I cannot tolerate pain killers, so bones are sawed off and all the rest without any relief from pain. So I was at an end, wanting out of life.
The second out of body I met a guide, a beautiful woman, floating above me. Her words were simple and left me wondering what I should do. She told me, "I have shown you the way and am free to go, or go on, and if you show another the way, you will be free to go as well".
