You asked for reasons...  :´(

Recently I visited my dad and he asked me to help him with some work in his garden.

As I asked him in return what exactly he wanted me to help him with he said:

"I want to remove this apple tree."

I was irritated and asked: "Why do you want to do that? You did plant this tree there before, didn't you?"

He said: "Yes, but he produces next to no fruits at all. And I want some plants that bears fruit there!"

Then I became even more irritated and replied:

"But is it the trees fault that he can't grow as perfectly as he certainly wants to do? And even as he doesn't bear much fruits he still produces oxygen and helps cleaning the air!"

I guess the apple tree simply felt neglected and had to grow on toxic ground.

As I suggested him a compromise to carefully relocate the tree my father refused as he seemingly didn't want to invest more time and work into the tree.

I don't know what happened to the apple tree. But at least some ants loved his fruits!
