fruits give me energy to work, excercise , and keep up with some young fellows I have to work with. Also, they laugh and learn from individual like me eating oranges and bananas during lunch........
and yet I am as fit as 18 yr old.
Fresh vegetables, fruits can repair abused, lazy(meaning lack of excercise ) , overweight human body..............

Hi folks, Hi raven, thanks for thoughtful reply.
Hi assiya, here is my solution, stop going to work for useless things that do not pertain to human basic needs and this is directed at all of humanity.
Even grocery store workers should quit and start growing food if they can and share freely what they can.
Participating in the buying and selling of food in anyway, is not going to feed everyone, it is just part of the problem.
Everyone with a backyard should have a large garden or greenhouse to share what they can with others in the area.
An apartment is a dirty joke played on humanity, we all should by birth right have free land to grow the food we need and anything surplus should be shared freely.
What say you folks.

I like working, it gives a positive feeling like I am achieving something and yes the entire system is backwards that we need money as a resoult of it. I love gardening which is work, helping others is also a occupation , spreading good words and energies is like a life time job.
Humanity is not a very smart bunch but not dumb either, it's learning but we can't change everything in a flick of a finger; it takes time.
Keep bananas close at hand at all time as snack, they'll chase the hunger fast and are such a blessing for the nervous system too in case you're suffering from stress.
That being said, I'm going to grab myself a sweet melon for dinner :-)
excellent advice Raven.............
also I think that marta gets hungry so easy becouse her body may not be used to such diet yet, and it takes a while to adjust to it.
bananas are great filler............
You are leading by example. They may laugh, cause it is the thing to do...... but they are watching.........
yes, they laugh but I don't care. I like impressing them with my physical and mental abilities..............
Hi folks, Hi assiya, thanks for sharing.
I am wondering, I see all this talk about food and meat and what not and now I am hungry, lol, no seriously, why is availability hardly ever mentioned in these posts and replies.
Many people in this world do not have unlimited options (funny money again) to get these fruits and veggies.
I'm all for everyone pickling themselves until there 800 years old and still running the marathon, but are you folks forgetting about the rest of us.
Lets troubleshoot the reasons many and myself can't eat what they want, when they want and for me it would be fruits and veggies, I love radishes.

I am not sure about the availability remark and funny money. Eating fruits and veggies must be cheaper than packaged, junk food, sodas and meat, milk and chesses.if you really want to save money you can start sprouting your food ; alfalfa, mustard, wheat, and etc. In a long run you can sprout your food for a $1 a day.
pending on where you live but foraging is a good way, growing a garden in back yard and even if you live in a apartment you can still grow a lot of food by your windows and balcony door. Ideas, here, are endless so money can be used to minimum and to save available funds.
Excellent remark VioletRay.
I guess it's not mentioned in replies, because it's another discussion and deserves a separate blog/forum discussion topic.
I don't think we're forgetting about people in need, nor judging dietary choices (or lack of choices).
Personally I find it appaling that so much food is being produced and waisted in certain regions, while in the same regions people have to go hungry because of lack of finances, and in other regions people are starving because of lack of food.
When I see how full or stores are and how much of that food is being thrown away at the end of the day because it didn't get sold, it makes me sad. We have some supermarkets who donate excesses to the food banks, but unfortunately most food is still destroyed or turned into animal food, rather than freely distributed to those in need.
Hi Marta, "going hungry fast" is not a bad thing. We don't have to stick to three meals a day. I feel it more natural to have small meals spread throughout the day. Fruits and vegetables digest easy, so they're absorbed into your system fast and efficiently. Just eat when you feel hungry.
