I think the frustration that some folks may have with expectations on this forum is that they don't seem to realize that we have already "arrived". Personally, I do not think the "big bang" theory is in play, nor do I think the heavens will open and we will see an entourage of space ships similar to the movie, "V" (or TV series).
I believe that each of us is unfolding and connecting with higher consciousness based on where we are in our personal Spiritual process. I personally seem to do a lot of work when I am asleep. There are many encounters that reflect back to me the work that I need to do. I seem to be more open to accepting that linear time does not exist and all that I am is available to me "all of the TIME". But, it happens mostly during the sleep state.
Sadly, the preoccupation with UFOs, Alien Encounters and the like seems to distract us from focusing on our own energies....our own power....our own spirituality and our own BEINGness. It is wonderful that we come to this site to bear testament to the understanding that life exists in a myriad of forms and the same consciousness permeates that life (irrespective of the galactic location, the dimension or the form). If we gain nothing else from this forum, that principle of Unity will be enough for me because at its very heart lies "Acceptance, Tolerance and Love". These are takeaways that can help us work out our challenges on this planet and with each other. I say this because I fear that we will miss some salient lessons while looking to the Stars.....and, forgetting to look Within....
