I think interstellar travel may be acheived viar quantum nonlocality. QM already allows particles to shoot all the way to say Andromeda in no time. The reason why we don't see clasic objects do this is that for some reasons we know not, the entire collection of particles forming the macroscopic objects don't agree to all move to a single location all at once. I beleive that this is a technological difficulty and not an imposibility in principle. We just don't know yet how to inform the particles.
