A key figure at the European Space Agency says we must look at how we exploit the moon's resources before it is too late, as missions begin to map its surface and Nasa calls for bids to mine in space.There are already companies working on how 3D printing could help build infrastructure on the moon, as well as missions which are beginning to map its surface ahead of bids to drill for its resources."We do not have decades to come up with answers to these important questions about exploring the moon," he said. Mining the Moon which is artificial anyway as our real moon was nicked long time ago and a replica fake artificial Moon put in its place so they say ...Earthlings could end up loosing the Moon for if they mine they will get greedy and split the moon into pieces ...then again another theory is that Extraterristrials have their bases in the moon and if earthlings land on the moon to mine they will be told to get lost....so back to Earth and a better plan is to be good and kind to the Planet you call home dear earthlings

Point out what questions I haven`t answered, and I`ll more than happy to answer.

Why would I want to go hermit and turn away from technologies and not to enjoy the benefits of it I don`t see the connection here, sorry. I just have a choice, and my choice is to use FREE and CLEAN energy.

The high demand for the so called "hydrogen economy" creates a higher demand for platinum than what earth can provide at this time. The moon have lots of it, and since it's the main ingredient in both fuel cell technology as well as catalyst technology, the idea for mining the moon are actually quite feasible.

I am however, a little worried about the large pollution this will create on the moon, The color of the surface may become much darker which will affect all of us who use the full moonlight as both energy booster as well as light synthesis processes in alchemical potionmaking.

The He^3 stuff is also in demand even though humanity so far haven't even cracked the fusion equation of deuterium yet. To get He^3 to fusion you need far higher temperatures. I believe the current He^3 test reactor have a ratio of delivering 1 millionth of the power you put in it in the first place. It's like planting a forest to harvest a seed. :)

The last question to be asked to us all here is this:

For the future, do we want cars, busses, to be able to travel, to be able to ship goods and so on?

If we don't, we won't need what's on the moon.

If we do, we will need every last bit of minerals and gasses the moon can provide.

    Everyone says there are existing free energy methods, but noone with an interest in free sharing of information have been able to build nor demonstrate one yet. Until then, we'll need This.

        Free energy is wind, water, solar or you were looking for some out of this planet solution? Nikola Tesla- free energy? Crystal Power Cells- the Hutchison effect? Just to give you a few. All has been modeled and proven.

        But it will cost you about $1 per KW to utilize properly and in a way that is compatible with our lifestyle choices.
        
        OR, you can skip all that has to do with safety in a car and therefore reduce its total weight down to a moped size but if you collide with someone at a speed greater than 30 kilometers per hour, you may not survive.

        .... I`m speechless on your tunnel vision reasoning. The energy is free not to making the machines (sadly) since we are still slaves to this society. So if you have to make these machines on your expense in exchange to get free and clean energies for the third of the cost of the nuclear/fossil/younameit power then just throw out everything, don`t use it but rather go and destroy and pollute more. Good job.
        
        Not even mention that your given goverment leaders of this world should make this accessible to everyone, but they don`t want that...
