I think alot of peopple who aspire to work in such corporations, do so, initially, to be a part of some of the worlds most 'profound' discoveries, and unaware of the 'red tape' in which they get embroiled. There are bigger organisations that run NASA. Alot of the people who work for NASA, are unaware of these higher organisations.
Many ex NASA employees have suddenly gone missing off the face of the earth (no pun intended) after exposing secrets and iinformation that they felt the people have a right to know.
This is a subject that thouroughly interests me, as I have quite often wondered why NASA have never (publicly) embarked on another mission to the moon, amongst many other mysteries!
