“Politicians Who Stole Our Liberty Should Be Tarred, Feathered, Thrown Out Of Town,” Says Elon Musk

Tesla founder Elon Musk has continued his tirade against United States lawmakers who are enforcing stay-at-home orders during the coronavirus.

The U.S. has been the country hit hardest by Covid-19, with nearly 90,000 fatalities and over 1.5 million positive cases.

The initial early lockdowns – implemented in order to ‘flatten the curve’ – were generally accepted. But now there is a growing unease among Americans, many of whom who feel that the economy needs to be opened up again.

As per a report on Friday, 18 states, and around 40% of America’s population (130 million people) are still under stay-at-home orders.

By comparison, 42 states and a total of 308 million people were under stay-at-home orders at the end of March.

But still, as the economy continues to dive and unemployment rises, many are calling for lockdown regulations to be lifted in more states and for businesses to be able to reopen.

Musk has been particularly vocal in his criticism of the California government as he battles to keep his Tesla plant in Fremont open.

Musk fighting to get Tesla back in production again

Earlier this month he tweeted: “Frankly, I would call it forcible imprisoning of people in their homes against all of, their constitutional rights, in my opinion.

“It’s breaking people’s freedoms in ways that are horrible and wrong and not why they came to America or built this country. What the f***. Excuse me. Outrage. Outrage.

“If somebody wants to stay in their house, that’s great and they should be able to. But to say they cannot leave their house and that they will be arrested if they do, that’s fascist. That is not democratic — this is not freedom. Give people back their goddamn freedom.”

Now he’s followed that up with another online rant. In response to a Twitter post made by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

In a video, Portnoy criticized authorities for what he perceives to be as an about-turn on lockdown regulations.

“Well said!” Musk replied. “Please run for office. The politicians & unelected bureaucrats who stole our liberty should be tarred, feathered & thrown out of town!

  • Politicians decisions should be FOR THE HIGHEST GOOD OF ALL...If any other decision then out should go the politician

  • Get rid of the corrupt politicians then put them all in prison they're all sciopaths/psychopaths they've always had plans of their own like selfish greed, lying, bribery, blackmail, drug cartels, spying, blaming other for their mistakes, war games mind games, austerity measures, hedonism,'' they live with many secret love affairs and marry very young women when they are much older say about in their 60s and 70s and beyond and it's not just in the political arena it's in the entertainment industry and they are also pedophiles and involved in child abductions

      • Special forces over infantry, when the enemy is well entrenched, with hostages. A military history example could be the 1980 Iranian embassy siege, London, by 22-regiment SAS [CRW team.]
When hostages began to die, the Thatcher government handed over control to "Major A," SAS.
The raid on the embassy and release of many hostages would not have succeeded, had the government ignored soldiers trained in counter-terrorism tactics and hypothetically chosen [substituted] the Grenadier Guards, a senior regiment of infantry, in the Household Brigade.

With impressive red tunics, bright buttons, ceremonial bearskin helmets and bayoneted rifles, these brave soldiers, well-rehearsed in parade ground [square-bashing,] knocked on the embassy's locked front door...And firmly demanded that hostage-takers give themselves up and surrender in the name of HM the Queen....

What would have happened, in this full-frontal approach....?? Would the mission have saved lives....?? Well, we can say it would have been messy, albeit dramatic television news...

  • I'm one of few people to who prefer to stay at home I like to read, paint still works of art and sew many projects and be self-employed at the same time and I plan my goal carefully and I go to a place where there is a lake and I 'm surrounded by nature throughout the year. I also like to write stories even it's from a faraway place and even write songs and of course, I would have a cat and dog for company.

  • Any politician not working in the highest good for all can really get lost...FOR CORRUPT POLITICIANS LOCKUP IS THE CURE...YES TOTAL LOCKUP
