Blessed are those who forget, for those who won`t will get insane.
Forgetting does not mean something is completely lost. You just are prevented from remembering something or someone.
The All-That-Is mind has decided to find himself in the manyfold of Being.
A mind finding himself is self-referential and thus conscient mind.
By finding himself in the manyfold of Being the All-Tha-Is mind is experiencing himself by perceiving the manyfold of Being as part of himself.
By entering the manyfold the All-That-Is mind is switching to a realm of different limitations in space, time and capacity.
One important face of limitation is forgetting. Because the brain, in which the All-That-Is mind is finding himself by giving the brain the illusion of "I am", is limited in it`s capacity, it must forget in order to provide undisturbed places of settlements of new impressions and experiences.
A finite capacity of a brain would inevitably lose memories if it would live infinitely. Thus the human is forgetting all the time. This includes forgetting also of his taking part of the All-That-Is mind.
Which makes forgetting not a curse after all, but a challenge. Humans are challenged to remember. And the main stimulant is playing with duality and other limitations.
And it takes a long way finally to discover that nothing and nobody could ever get lost in the divine comedy...
