The Aral Sea -The area has been named one of the worst environmental disasters by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Soviet irrigation projects diverted rivers that fed the Aral sea-why didn't we hear screaming journalists  on the western media ranting an raving about this?  If this happened in the US the anti-west pervs would have been all over it saying it was because of white people.

    I dont know about amerikans but this had been known in Europe for decades. I guess education in this country is way behind...........
