A spell of depression is a sign of life. No dead human can experience depression.
If you want to see good behaving, peaceful, loved people - go to a cemetry, a place of dead people. Or read books and live in them, for books don´t bite. Or stay home and be with yourself only.
If you want to experience life, go among living humans, for humans bite. Life bites. Time bites. You undergo bite lessons and life lessons. And your face gets life´s scars:
They say the world is round, and yet
I often think it square,
So many little hurts we get
From corners here and there.
But one great truth in life I've found,
While journeying to the West-
The only folks who really wound
Are those we love the best.
The man you thoroughly despise

Who has told us life is easy? Who put that in our mind that we always must be winners? Who persuaded us to always look on the bright side of life?
Pussycats! Otherwise they would face and say the truth: life is ups and downs. Light and valleys of darkness and even death. Depression is a sign of life and not of death.
You believe there is much in your hands? Meditate on that once more. And again. And what do you see? There is almost nothing in your hand. That is the plain truth.
With almost nothing in your hand you stand living where you at this moment and look. The only real chance you have in this moment is letting go as it appears. Letting go and letting happen. And a spell of depression might be part of it.
But relax. All that happens - and I mean all - is temporal. It comes and goes, just as it is supposed to come and go. Remember you have nothing in your hand, also no time. You can transcend time only by letting go and letting happen.
In some cases there is some pills helping, but if possible, take no pills. You need to have a good doctor in case of heavy and longlasting depression, someone you can trust and talk. But anyway - depression is a sign of life...
