Why would the U.S. attack the Philippines? They accept our money as legit currency and allow our navy to dock there on occasion. Statistics seem to indicate that when there are low numbers of Atlantic Ocean derived tropical storms, Pacific Ocean based tropical storms vastly increase in number. I suspect that this may be the case. And ISON comet may also be a factor due to the history of tsunamis and tropical storms with its arrival.
