Irrespective of what we do, we are always in service to self.
even when we serve others, we are still driven by the feeling of it feels good to serve others.
Or it feels less bad to not serve myself.
Either way, we are serving others because of it how it feels for us to do so.
The difference is, one is driven by compassion and love.
the other is driven by fear and guilt.
compassionately serving your self means that when you choose to serve others. you will do so because it's appropriate.
And you will give them your best.
