  Wow, that's definitely it. I started learning to see aura when I was just lying on bed at afternoon looking at the edges of my hand. It was just grey dots before, time after, I started seeing colors then extends to glow. I haven't been exerting effort these days on aura. But on the days that I were practicing it, it's basically the exact same you're seeing. I've seen mine mostly blue, then sometimes turning to green then violet. I have a hard time distinguishing other colors as maybe because of the background.
  
  I had a moment before when I was able to play with my aura in my hand, it's like a colored air, stagnant in place but soft. Then changing colors.

  I am currently in focus on seeing more energies, specially those of higher frequency. I have read on some forum when someone says he can see spirits in their full splendor without any effort - an inborn natural ability. I want that too, and it's been my goal to be able to do so. I'm practicing my eyes to be more of clairvoyant. So in future, I'll be able to chit chat with my spirit friends directly. That'll be awesome. =D

    Yes thanks, the colours of a healthy enlightened aura look largely like a gas fire flame,.. the blue to violet hues and yes the appear to move constantly.
    Great, I once had a near death experience where i was sent back and "angels"= light beings are all indescribably white!!! more pure than you can imagine (and they don`t have wings) I guess they don`t need them :) :)
    Those dark guys are always around so dont worry about them, they can manifest into through "spirit eyes" seriously ugly stuff so there`s no guessing where they`re from, its not all gumdrops and moonbeams when you see into spirit, they like to try and scare you as best they can so you go into fear shut down and don`t develop.
    again I don`t really want to learn up on what colours mean, There are a few or more than a few trick teachers and teachings out there and I have a feeling it`s going to get worse.
    what i find is experience is the best and most accurate teacher, and when i get it wrong which i do there`s always another chance to learn.And OOOh boy I have been wrong to learn right!!!

      Actually it is fear that hindered me from pursuing this psychic eye development. But when I think that If In exchange can see my friends, then It is ok, that's all that matters to me. I can always ask those unwanted entities to go away, and ask help and protection from powerful light entities and angels.
      
      When I asked a psychic about what should I do next for my spirituality, she says a guide left a message for me, it says:

      Besides, I think It is time to conquer those fears...
      It always hinders in spiritual development anyway. :)

        I am not able at this juncture to be able to "see" auras, but, I DO feel people's NRG fields. We all have an NRG field, and that is what I feel the aura is. It is the projection of our thoughts/feelings, which are represented by various colors.
        
        Reanne, here is a very powerful command to keep the dark entities/energies away from you. However, you must say this with great passion and command, and remember you have authority over the dark ones.
        
        "I call on the One Light Source which created me and ask for constant protection and guidance in the Light. I DEMAND that no dark energies be allowed to enter my Light field of energy." I've been using this for a long time, and it works beautifully for me. I will repeat: you must say this with great sincerity, passion and authority, expecting it to work and it will.

          Ha thanks! That was simple and short. All I needed.
          
          Actually, I was thinking of some protection invocation to use on dealing with them, earlier while I was writing my reply. Plus, it feels nice to know that we have a power over them. I read from other source that no one can harm us unless we let them. Your post helps a lot! =D
          
          I can also feel those energies, specially of our dog when my hand is hovering over her head, it's warm. Sometimes I don't like touching my family because I'm not use to their energies. But I love my pillow, it's with me all the time that's why it has my energies with it. No wonder it always feels is so smooth and comfy.

  Part 2, forgive me,
  the dark space around people before the light "band" is darkness,= depression, that is their aura.
  and strangely enough I once had someone feign anger telling me a story and yes the aura went distinctly red :)

  Well Done!, yes you see auras, there are many different frequencies to see aura in, it depends where your at of course, firstly you start to see a "field" of light around a person, stay with it don`t challenge it or intilectualise it, just be comfortably with it.
  then after a while as your frequency changes to match the aura it could expand when your ready, in full "vision" an aura will look exactly as a rainbow does you see it but also see through it just the same,.. the colours are not separated like a rainbow has bands,..rather you see all the colours at once through different depths of field as of course all colours together make the colour white.sounds strange and impossible I know but trust me there is no other analogy of explination.
  for me unequivikably seeing green means sickness so check for health and green in one place tells of the location of the sickness, but be warned the green may show before the sickness is present in natural symptoms but never wrong.
  I have had no reading or training in this but just learn`t as i went.It took me a long time to learn to walk in my gifts as i found so many shoddy "teachers" and writings, the best way to learn is by experience, not with your head to be full of knowlege
  Dont focus it is about the opposite let go and allow yourself to see the between stuff that is where the spiritual dimension exists.
  Now as for wicca,..RUN don`t go there forgive youself and move on
