THIS WAS NOT POSTED IN ORDER TO CREATE FEAR. IT COULD ACTUALLY BE A GOOD THING- CRASH OF OLD FINANCIAL SYSTEM.
My wife, through her network of girlfriends in Oceanside, was told yesterday that the Marine Corps Officer wives at Camp Pendleton were being told to stock up on food, water and cash in contingency for 7-10 days of possible disruption of normal shopping and electronic banking systems. They were also told to keep the gas tanks full of fuel.
This is very similar to what Poof and Cobra has said.
Married life has taught me a healthy respect for the informal ad-hoc communication networks that women create among themselves.
Is this the ramp up to the change in the banking system?

The earth physical changes that are about to happen, I feel to be the changes as Atlantis rises from the ocean floor..
It will cause power failure everywhere, that is why it is a good idea to have supplies of food and cash for during that time. Only cash transactions will be able to take place if a business is even open, which is most likely possible not because everything is run on computer system.
READERS: it's ALWAYS a good idea to keep some non-GMO dehydrated food stocked up, along with distilled water. BE SKEPTICAL AND WARY OF ANY "terrorist" ATTACKS THAT MAY TAKE PLACE ON U.S. SOIL. The NDAA Act (signed by Obama at 10:00 PM, 12/31/11) will allow establishment of martial law in event of such an attack, and this will create panic with the general public, and it will also generate hard-ons and orgasms with certain (s)elected leaders and their central banker sponsers (i.e. control-freaks and sociophobes with government ties). Stay safe. Best, Malcolm
I agree Malcolm and and laughing about the generation of " hard-ons and orgasms" with the leaders, hahaha, lmao....what a picture...so true so true....
Yup Toof an I.M. I am stocked up to the hilt....living in Florida a person really should be ready for any contingency being a sitting duck to hurricanes. A few years back the town I live in was decimated by hurricane Charley....It was a fluke because as a rule this town is not hit by hurricanes. It happened two years before I moved here. So I have been stocked up, locked down and hurricane proofed so to speak ever since I moved here. My garage looks like a food bank with all sorts of emergency foods....Every time I shop I stock up on canned goods, dried foods, and always have lots of extra propane for the bbq grill for cooking...etc...and have gallons and gallons of drinking water lined up the whole length of my garage. and have two back up generators...I feel pretty good about things....
It's very wise to stockpile up on emergency supplies and non-perishable foods.
We are all reliant on a system that could crash at any moment. Once it does, there's going to be mayhem!
Good point, Butterfly.
Actually, I have been stocked for a year or so.
America will be hard hit if tshtf.
And grocery stores and supplies will disappear within hours of a crisis.
Maybe time to replace and add to supplies.
So many false alarms to date though.
Where's Mr. Ed for some (In) credible Intel when you need him....OH NEVERMIND!
The question is can this "network of girlfriends" that your wife relayed to you what they said be trusted as a reliable source.
Or is this just another she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, wife said, he said?
No guarantee that the power won't go out, right? So make that emergency food stuff that can't perish without refrigeration. Personally, I'm sick and tired of having to throw emergency food away because it has expired. I've done that far too often in my life!
