David Bowie was the PERFECT guy to play the part in The Man Who Fell To Earth, strange, skinny. When I think of him, I will always think of him in that part.
And now I can RELATE to his Golden Girls song!
great film Malcolm -he comes from a dying planet to see if he can colonize? but ends up patening his tech and becoming super rich, hooks up with a babe, and becomes totally corrupted, in certain ways, then forgets his family and home-I forgot the ending
If I recall correctly, Bowie's part as an Earth-corrupted ET alien becomes an alcoholic at the end of the movie.
We should all watch it again,
