David Bowie was the PERFECT guy to play the part in The Man Who Fell To Earth, strange, skinny. When I think of him, I will always think of him in that part.

If I recall correctly, Bowie's part as an Earth-corrupted ET alien becomes an alcoholic at the end of the movie.
