I was told not to go filming within one mile of the base, or I could be charged with espionage due to the military nature of the base.
Yes, I do make an error, stating 1955 and not 1954. I was in a rush at that time, trying to make it back to White Oaks, New Mexico, to get more filming in before the sun set.
