Well... In my many hours of playing Soulblazer for the SNES, I learned that Plants in Dr Leo's lab have leaves that are medical herbs. Upon talking to the plant I learned that it doesn't mind helping you with one of it's leaves, so long as you don't take more then you can carry, which is one.
