Planetary Unfolding

Embark on a journey from the heart of space to alien landscapes of creation in the space ambient classic "Planetary Unfolding" by Michael Stearns. High quality space pictures fading each into other make for an interesting experience. This album has inspired me since I was very young. Very deep and uplifting.

1) In the Beginning (0:00)
2) Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore (8:00)
3) Whenever two or more are gathered (14:12)
4) Life in the gravity well (22:14)
5) As the Earth kissed the Moon (29:09)
6) Something's Moving (39:04)

Michael Stearns became a resident composer musician at Emily Conrad's meditation classes in 1975. He composed and performed on a Minimoog and various electro-acoustic instruments. In 1979, he was introduced to the Serge modular synthesizer by Kevin Braheny, who owned a 15-panels system ("The Mighty Serge"), which he used on Morning Jewel. He then built his own 12-panels Serge. On this one as he already did with Braheny's system he performed electronic music with a strong feeling of space.

The album was given a first release under Michael Stearns' own label, Continuum Montage, in 1981. It was reissued on CD from 1985 to 1991 by Sonic Atmospheres and is since unavailable: as of June 2009, it hasn't been reissued on Stearns's 2000-launched label Earth Turtle.

"You’re right. It must be in our Prussian roots! Our British DNA took a backseat lol. (Reserved for humour only) 😁"

"Hehe....It's Farage being too "British" with his words and desire to please all sides of a debate.....You and I are more "Prussian," a bit like straight talking Americans, too.....😁"

"Yes, I definitely agree. At least Zia Yusef cleared up that weird glitch for us, on 24th Feb. It’s good to see someone in that party doing the right thing. We don’t have the time or the patience for people pleasers lol."

"Agreed Movella...Frankly I have no idea why Farage would use such defeatist words, but I look at his shadow home secretary making an official speech on the topic of deportations and feel assured....That speech was on the 24th Feb, so undoubtedly…"

"It was an interesting result in the Gorton & Denton byelection, in which the 100-year Labour "safe seat," was taken from them, destroying Starmer and ending two-party politics in the UK....The Greens won it and although I would have preferred…"

"I looked into it quickly and found that Farage did in fact say those words that AE quoted at a press conference on 17th February. I still believe that Reform is the best option available for the UK at the moment, but I will admit that Farage is not…"

"AE.....Farage has not gone "to the dark side." The Reform UK official policy, is to track down and DEPORT all illegal migrants.....In fact, the shadow home secretary made a recent speech, describing the policy, on this vid.....Check out and note the…"

"I like AI and it can be useful, but I believe in using it to assist people and not to replace them entirely. If a company thinks they can do that then they’ve lost the plot. People should be able to discern where to draw the line when it comes to…"
