This documentary details the root causes of the systemic value disorders and detrimental symptoms caused by our current established system. This video presentation advocates a new socio-economic system, which is updated to present-day knowledge, featuring the life-long work of Social Engineer, Futurist, Inventor and Industrial Engineer Jacque Fresco, which he calls a Resource-Based Economy.
The film details the need to outgrow the dated and inefficient methods of politics, law, business, or any other "establishment" notions of human affairs, and use the methods of science, combined with high technology, to provide for the needs of all the world's people. It is not based on the opinions of the political and financial elite or on illusionary so-called democracies, but on maintaining a dynamic equilibrium with the planet that could ultimately provide abundance for all people.
Paradise or Oblivion, by The Venus Project, introduces the viewer to a more appropriate value system that would be required to enable this caring and holistic approach to benefit human civilization. This alternative surpasses the need for a monetary-based, controlled, and scarcity-oriented environment, which we find ourselves in today.

If there was a love button on this I would push it! Me and this guy had to have known each other sometime before b/c he just took the words right out of my mouth. This is the kind of stuff I tell people around me every chance I get and they think I'm wanting a unrealistic ideal world when I know better. It's not something that should be overlooked because it is sooooo soooo possible all we need to do is have more people like me who want to make it happen and we're good. I can't do it alone. When I saw the pictures of the new possible world it's heartbreaking because I've seen them before and they have been done elsewhere. We on earth just need to form a alliance with all of us that are here (every creature wether fictional to you or not) and we can climb to a place where love is so unlimited there's no serious issues we can't self conquer. Who's with me?
yes..its usually like that... people may say "its unrealistic".. but thats because they have a distorted view of reality... the "unnatural" has become common to them, and our current social reality seems normal to them...
because they havent seen anything else, for to compare it with...
but its ok...one step at a time... one person at a time... these kind of ideas are out of the bag now... and u cannot stop an idea who's time has come...
and as the saying goes, "you may say im a Dreamer...but im not the only one"... ;)
