Pain is a learning curve?

I used to be a soldier and experienced a high level of emotional conflict on return from the first Gulf War in 1991.  I have found that over the years studying what makes mankind tick and the nature of reality, that everything we experience is a lesson, good or bad.  Anyway I found this article and thought I'd share it for discussion.

Much love TJ.

  • There is a lot of truth in this article. Found through experience that if you don't truly learn from the painful experience you put yourself through, it repeats until you do, generally in a far more painful manner. I've had PTSD for years, it turned to seizures not long ago as a result of the trauma held within my body and my brains denial and inability to cope with it. When I decided to tackle the issues head on purely because they haven't killed me yet so must be there to make me stronger, I actually did a lot better than I thought I would, wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. In fact, it was easier because I made the choice to help myself. Accept that you will feel pain to recover and the pain will be lessened because you chose to feel it and your recovery will be easier as well. When you make an active choice to help yourself, you would be surprised at the support you find.  Generally its support you wouldn't get otherwise. Actively help yourself, actively choose to learn your lessons, to go through the pain to get over the problem.
Good article though, very good find :)

    • Like you I suffered from PTSD..I decided to face my demons last year that took me a spiritual journey.  Too cut a long story short I started to get some amazing coincidences which lead me to an organisation which dealt with specifically PTSD.  Its been a roller coaster for years but now im finding a more balanced exsistance.  I truely understand what you mean by not dealing with an issue... it will come back to haunt you time and time again.

I truely think that we are at a cusp of a new dawn in the conciousness of human kind through a vibrational change but it wont happen overnight.  I really hope though, it will eventually help those who have experienced trauma within thier lives, live in peace within themselves.  Much love to you Lisafer

      • Thought that might be the case, given what you would have seen while on tour it is not surprising. Glad to hear that you're able to sort it as well. Having the help of medical professionals who actually want to help and know how to help would be very handy. I just got pills thrown at me and told they would take care of it. Have had more help from mother earth than from any doctor lol, and from myself than from any psychologist.

Agree, we most definitely are. If people want to help themselves, if they want to take that first step, they will find that the path they walk is easier than sitting at the cross roads and being attacked from all sides. Its scary though, making that first step and I think that's probably what puts people off. When they are ready, they will. For now, lead and live by example. Being able to get through what we both know is a really really difficult rollercoaster to stay on is a big deal and something that people around you will learn from, if they chose to. The peace will find them, I have faith in that :)

Much Love and Light right back to you TruthJunkie, I hope your balance finds and stays with you :)
