Our real existence is as Spirit, and only in the degree that we perceive our real existence as Spirit, do we drop the false sense of life as material. Then we see that the structural life of man, animal, and plant is but the false sense of existence; that our concern for the so-called necessities of material living has been unnecessary; that although the beauties we behold all hint at God's creation, they are not that spiritual and perfect creation; that the sick, aging, dying appearances are not at all a part of real life. When we arrive at this state of consciousness, we begin to catch glimpses of eternal spiritual existence, untouched by material conditions or mortal thoughts. As we turn from the world we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell, we catch inspired visions which show forth the earth of God's creating.
Consciousness, Life, Spirit, can never fail. Our task is to learn to relax and let our Soul express itself.
In healing work, we must turn from the structural universe which we see. We must remember that we are not called upon to heal it, change it, alter it, correct it, or save it. We are first of all to realize that it exists only as illusion, as the false sense of life. 3. To help those that you love to fully let go and ascend, to help others by appearing to be the shadow, by pretending to be the bad guy so that those of the darkness reveal themselves by attacking you. By choosing to help those in need. No matter who they are or what they have done in the past.
The appropriate response is for us to recognize the Purpose of what Life is about. The reason why we are here. And the reason why a non-physical being would choose a Concrete physical reality to operate in.
The soul is non-physical, its made of energy patterns, and exists in a variety of shapes that are constantly changing and some parts of it are pretty much formless. That truth never changes.
The soul chooses to come down here and control a physical body, as its vehicle, for operating in the Physical world because of the rich Experiences available here. And the fact that everything you do here has lasting consequences. So you cannot just turn away from something you did, and pretend it didn't happen, because it lingers.
And as for souls that are capable of living on higher planes of existence where reality begins to be more concrete again - Darkness experiences are not possible up there. The very vibration of those high planes prevents it. So that's the other reason to come down here to the Physical.
So there are 2 Reasons and only 2 for the Soul to choose to Live in the physical world:
1) To regain Remembrance of divine heritage. Which we summarize as Soul Evolution (learning sacred truths, etc).
2) To Experience what its like to be alive, and have a life. To do the things of the living world. This also falls under the category of "boredom" that some souls also encounter.
I feel that we chose to experience life here and on other planets and somehow lost our way in forgetting or going to sleep that we are at one with our good (Source). We (until we awaken that is) believe that we are separated from our Source. We are not.
There is that part of us which never suffers. It has never suffered in any way, shape or form.
IMO religion has ballsed a lot of the truth up.Religion enslaves, Truth frees.

And to settle the debate once and for all... YES souls do choose to experience Suffering and Limitation and Slavery and all that bad stuff.
People really do choose to be victims. Because there is learning in that too, and the Soul is more curious than might be imagined - sometimes it wants to experience what those things are like. Sometimes it plans on using those "tools" to cancel out the Karma that it has picked up.
This fits under that whole umbrella of Taking Responsibility - if you don't accept that things like this happen, to you also included, then you cannot Take Back Your Power to be able to Change those tendencies.
And you will continue to be doomed to repeat them... as well as rendered powerless to them by not believing that its true. And will end up experiencing more suffering and trauma in the end than is necessary because you denied to yourself the ability to Choose something else.
In order to avoid a trap one must first know that it exists.
