Optimum Trajectory

I decided to watch the first half of the movie " Men Who Stare At Goats " today and came across a part of monologue that really struck at me. The entire quote is as follows:OPTIMUM TRAJECTORY:"Your life is like a river. If your aiming for a goalthat isn't your destiny, you will always beswimming against the current. Young Ghandiwants to be a stock car racer? Not gonna happen.Little Anne Frank wants to be a high school teacher.Tough Anne. That's not your destiny. But you willgo on to move the hearts and minds of millions.Find out what your destiny is and the river will carryyou. Now sometimes events in life give you anindividual clues as to where their destiny lies."I find this statement to be very true. every get little nudges about things? or great options just happen to fall into your lap? Well when those things happen you are fulfilling your life goal. The Optimum Trajectory of the human race is to grow together, and love everyone and everything. Right now, our masses are "swimming against the current" in the great river of life, and look all around, everything is falling apart.what are your thoughts? and have you had experiences in this?
