I look upon Jesus. I cannot exactly answer why. He appears as living Being within me I cannot deny.

I was never a bible believer, for I consider the book as "paper pope" I feel not supposed to believe in: ink, letters, chapters according different canonical understandings. Protestants have another canon than catholics, and christians in Ethiopia differ in that too. So which canon I should pick?

Believing to me is a personal and living happening. No book ever is a living thing per se. I rather say: I believe in the living God, and I have a living relation to Jesus.

It is not simply about reading in the bible and believing in God. You can read till the end of times and nothing must happen. You can also read for instance only Psalm 23 and get an awareness of the divine.

I want to tell about two experiences the Jesus case has brought me to rely always on the living Jesus.

Once I was out of the blue confronted with a strange woman. We both were guests at a birthday party and stayed over night in the house, each one in a separate room.

When I went to bed, she came over and wanted to talk. She told me of dark rituals she had been part of at cemetries of a big city. And out of nothing she attacked me.

She threw me around like a doll and finally took scissors to threat me. She had powers which were amazing. I was in her hands like a toy.

It took not long that I saw I was attacked by extrahuman forces. Her voice was deep like a man, and she yelled at me: Fuck Jesus, I kill you!

I was almost frozen in fear. And I did what came into my mind in that moment: I cried out: Jesus, help me! Immediately she led go of me and screamed like hell. I still wonder today that no neighbour would listen. She broke down and wept, only to start a new attack - this time she threatened herself by pointing the scissors towards herself.

I jumped at her wanting to prevent her from harming herself, and she again threw me around like a doll. I cried out for Jesus, and she finally broke down. So it went on for almost 4 hours. She then fell asleep giving me a great relief.

I left the house early around 6 in the morning.

Another story took place some years later. When I was in bed I had the feeling someone is in the house. I got up and looked and found nothing. Before turning off the light, something strange happened.

It became cold and a pitch black darkness crawled into my room filling it more and more. And I felt an indescribable fear. It was as strong as if I had to die. And I called out for Jesus. Many times. I was dripping with sweat and saw the dark cloud diappearing. In the name of Jesus, go away, I screamed.

Later I have read a guy did the same when he felt himself being abducted by Aliens - he could nothing do but thinking he´d called Jesus. And I remembered that I have been visited by dark figures when I was a child - one figure with licking sounds I called "the licker"...

I didn´t wrote those lines to focus on dark forces which happen in our world and lives, but rather to witness the power which is in the name of Jesus. Again - I can´t exactly say why I came to this. Therefore I call it divine gift.
