Ah, dear Lucy and SOT. How are you two on this fine day?
Lucy, I am very sorry if you follow channelings for dates and such, as it is truly a hollow procedure to follow when looking for information about the future, at least in my opinion.
Seeker, some tend to get caught up in the physical aspects of what is going to be happening, rather than looking within and realizing that it is WE who must work on our own evolution, within ourselves and doing so on a collective level will see an easier manifestation of many events that the channels have been attempting to prepare us for.
Sure, there will be some who fixate themselves on dates. That is their path and should be respected, rather than criticizing them for it. Either way, they are taking something from the material they absorb. If they find themselves disappointed over a dropped date or failed prediction, than perhaps it can be a lesson for them that following the dropping of dates is a very hollow ascension procedure.
And honestly, outside of Sheldan Nidle I do not see any channelings making any specific, dated predictions. I see a lot of people who assume that channels are doing so and who assume that many are blindly following such predictions and dates, but I nearly never see an actual message claiming that 'this is going to happen on this date' outside of Sheldan Nidle and his 'Spring Timeline' which I personally never resonated with.

Fully understood there! Sometimes when we see something, anything, that we do not resonate with, the best thing to do is simply detach and let others follow their own paths. It can be difficult to see others going down a path that we perceive as contradictory or misleading, yet we will find them in the higher realms regardless, having ascended to such realms in their own, beautiful ways.

See what happens when ya get your hopes up over these channelings that never happen people? Hate to say we told ya so but....
This is unfortunate but certainly not surprising in the least. It seems as though many people who read these channelings all the time get so excited and are ready to celebrate and declare victory (I've heard some even host "love parties"), yet when the channelings fail to materialize, they say they don't pay attention to dates or timelines or just about anything else.
