i wonder how many times this monument been hit with real powerful lighting, and how strong the effect is and if added up damage that now needs repair. also reported not to long ago was the statue of liberty in New York was hit with a strong lighting hit.
i wonder how much of a capacitor potential energy our air around the earth is now to discharge this much power, and why.
i wonder if the lighting seems to hit just about the same spot, because of the way it was designed the charge has to travel to the frame of monument to ground potential.
that monument is huge, and i would assume hollow as well, and it's thickness and age is also in question.
it could be a omen to some, i just feel neutral to this event, and i need more convincing from above, for i still use logic of this day and age of mankind.

I must admit to feeling that this event was a sign of Heaven's disapproval (karmic..?) of the way the title "Christ" has long been misrepresented as being attributed to "Jesus," when he never occupied that position in the Spiritual Hierarchy...The Christ is actually Jesus' "boss," or chief of the Masters...
